Terms and Conditions

We will continue to monitor Government guidance on COVID-19 and put into place recommended safety guidelines for when we open in March 2022. You can keep up to date with the latest COVID-19 news here:

International Guests

We are accepting bookings from overseas guests and we will continue to monitor Government guidance with regards to international travellers coming into the UK for 2022.

Please be aware that international travellers may need to have had two COVID-19 vaccination injections to enter the country without any quarantine measures.  The UK maintains a RED LIST of those countries where entry to the UK is forbidden. please check.

For guests that already have a confirmed reservation, our standard T&C’s apply, however, we appreciate that you may have some queries and we have outlined these in our FAQ section below.

Frequently asked questions

Can I delay my holiday start date?

During this unprecedented time, please note that Twyford Wharf Narrow Boats will not be applying any additional administration charges to guests looking to change their existing holiday dates, subject to availability. On production of a positive reading your holiday may be delayed subject to the addition/deduction of seasonal costs.

If I want to cancel my holiday will I receive a refund?

Twyford Wharf Narrow Boats are not offering guests a refund, we will defer your holiday start date and will look to accommodate guests wishing to move their booking to a new start date (subject to availability).

We recommend that you take out your own Insurance Policy regarding Covid Cancellation.

We will not implement any price increase due in 2023 and will not charge the administration fee for any change. Price increases will be incurred should a guest increase the length of their holiday; or moves an off-peak date to a peak date, in line with seasonal demand for holidays. Likewise, we would adjust the holiday price from peak to off-peak.

Can I have a voucher?

For those guests unable to commit to new dates at present, we will hold your payment ‘on deposit’ with a 12-month validity.
